Small Clothes

The petit tenue of the Regiment Royal Deuxponts is beautifully illustrated in the painting of the Siege of Yorktown by von Blarenbergh. The artist painted to versions of the siege, one for Louis XVI, the second for the Comte de Rochambeau. The Royal Deuxponts were featured prominently in the painting at his request to honor their presence in the trenches during the entire siege.
