The squad designated to guard the white (Colonel's) flag will be placed to the left and will be made part of the third section of the Colonel's company or the second division of the first battalion and the flag bearer in the first rank of the second file counted from the right.
The squad designated to guard the (regimental) flag of the second battalion, will be placed to the right and made part of the second section of the Lieutenant-Colonel's company, and the flag bearer will be placed in the first rank of the third file of this squad counted from the right.
So that the Colonel or Lieutenant-Colonel's company should not have a greater number of files than the other divisions, the four extra files will be divided across the entire battalion, as detailed in Title V, Article 1st
